Veritas ™ Enterprise Vault.cloud is a cloud-based archiving service that helps organizations meet their data management requirements more effectively. Enterprise Vault.cloud interfaces smoothly with Office 365 and Google G Suite Enterprise as well as with on-premises mail systems such as Microsoft Exchange Server or IBM Domino, ensuring that information is retained appropriately. A default retention policy can be applied to all archived information, or role-based rules can be applied to specific people so that customized retention periods can be assigned. Even the email of departed employees covered by your retention policies is retained at no extra cost. Options are also available for capturing unified communications, including instant messaging and social media, Microsoft SharePoint documents and more.

Enterprise Vault.cloud makes use of the native journaling capabilities of enterprise email systems to capture emails, attachments and all message data, then timestamps the archived content and gives it a unique signature to guarantee authenticity. Journaling captures the content and the recipient exactly, so you always know who received what and when, regardless of user behaviour.

With Enterprise Vault.cloud and journaling, whether or not a legal hold is in place, the original copy remains in the journal archive even if an end user deletes or alters a message in their Inbox or Personal Folders.

Enterprise Vault.cloud CloudLink Tools

This is a synchronization tool for your archive with Microsoft Active Directory or Domino Directory. Put simply, every time a new Exchange or Domino user is created, a new archive account is automatically provisioned for them in Enterprise Vault.cloud.

Folder Sync Service

FolderSync synchronizes users' Outlook folder structures in the Enterprise Vault Personal.cloud archive, allowing users to view their archive folder structure exactly as it appears in their inbox.

Classification Integration

Using the same classification engine as Enterprise Vault and other Veritas products, Enterprise Vault.cloud can classify archived information and apply tags where policies match, helping to streamline eDiscovery processes.

Veritas Enterprise Vault Mailbox Continuity

This is an add-on capability that helps maximize email availability for Office 365 mail and protects against the downtime and data loss that an email outage can cause. The service activates automatically when an outage occurs, allowing your users to continue sending and receiving messages through their archives while the mail system is unavailable.
