Palo Alto Prisma AIRS
Prisma AIRS is Palo Alto Networks' AI security platform that discovers, assesses and protects an organisation's AI applications, models, agents and data from a single platform.
Prisma AIRS secures the entire lifecycle of generative AI and agentic applications on a single platform. It reveals which AI applications, models and agents are in use across the organisation, assesses the data and permissions they reach, and provides real-time runtime protection against prompt injection, data leakage, toxic content and unsafe agent actions.
The platform is made up of complementary modules: AI Gateway, which discovers and governs every AI activity in the enterprise; AI Model Security, which scans third-party models for tampered model files, malicious scripts and deserialization attacks; AI Red Teaming, which simulates real-world attacks to find weaknesses in applications and agents before attackers do; AI Posture Management, which provides visibility into training and inference data, model access and application integrity; Agent Security, which verifies agent identity and blocks unauthorised actions; and AI Runtime Security, which monitors AI behaviour and enforces safeguards in real time.
Prisma AIRS can be deployed inline on network traffic (Network Intercept) or integrated into applications through an API (API Intercept). AI applications, LLM deployments, models, cloud infrastructure and containers are protected under the same policy framework, so security becomes part of the design rather than a layer bolted on after AI reaches production.
