Opswat MetaDefender ICAP Server
MetaDefender ICAP Server is an integration server that brings advanced content security to proxies, secure web gateways, file transfer and storage products that support the ICAP protocol. By routing the files passing through those systems to MetaDefender's multiscanning, Deep CDR, sandbox and data inspection capabilities, it adds a central file security layer to the existing infrastructure.
ICAP-based integration raises the level of file inspection without changing the existing proxy or storage architecture. Because the same security policies and detection technologies are used across different workflows, management is simplified and protection becomes more consistent. Rather than building a new security gateway, the organization can extend the investments it already has, stopping threats arriving through web downloads and file uploads before they reach the target system.
