Cortex XDR is an extended detection and response platform that brings together security data from endpoint, network, identity and cloud sources to detect, investigate and respond to attacks. Using behavioural analytics and threat intelligence, it correlates attack stages such as malware, ransomware, credential misuse and lateral movement into a single incident chain.

Correlating different security sources into one case means analysts spend less time working across separate consoles and scattered alerts. Because the root cause, affected assets and attack timeline can be seen faster, detection and response times are shortened. Carrying out responses such as endpoint isolation, process termination and file quarantine centrally limits the spread of an incident and improves the efficiency of SOC operations.
